I think Disney movies have some of the most thought provoking messages to young children regarding animals… Im sure somewhere in my subconcious, because of my enormous disney VHS collection as a child, that this is why, today, I feel empathy for what I see in real life, the same way I felt it when I saw it in cartoons years before… If you were saddeend by Dumbo, but not saddend by the real life plight of circus animals (this applies to other disney movies too) than somewhere along the road, you lost the message that you recieved and were moved by all those years ago…
Just because you grow up, does not mean you have to forget things that mattered to you as a child. And even more importantly, to remember them more as an adult, because you can use those feelings to be a better person today, and hopefully one day, everyone will grow up feeling the same way and knowing the world we live in, needs compassion, and opened eyes. There are thousands of Dumbo’s out there… but none of them share his happy ending.

"when I see an Elephant Flyyyyyyy"

The first is a still from a circus called The Courtney Brothers Circus. This circus is coming to a town I unfortunately occupy. The Second is from Dumbo, im sure most of us can remember, never forget what it evoked in us the first time around, & remember it now.

Fucking Bunch of cunts. Look at the zombified horror on these elephants. How disturbing is this image?! This photo, just a still, makes for such an uncomfortable eyesaw.

Take another look at this photo, which is considered entertainment. Imagine how zombified, after years and years of hard abuse these elephants must be to do these “tricks”. This is the courtney brothers circus which is currently touring Ireland…. absaloute disgust and anger that we still find this entertaining and a great family night out. Fuck off. This is such a disturning sight.

  • Dumbo. Bambi. Babe. Lady & The Tramp. The Aristocats.
  • Boycott the circus. Ban Hunting. Vegetarian. Adopt a Shelter Pet. Love cats.
  • Thank You childhood movies.
